Mindfulness Based Resilience Training for Trauma Workers

Audience: First responders, Prosecutors, Victim Advocacy Workers, Child Case Workers, Social Workers, and others who work with victims of trauma.

Overview: This training translates the trauma informed body of knowledge to enhance the resiliency of trauma workers, resourcing them with evidence-based skills in mindfulness practice. The latest science of stress and resiliency will be presented and translated into awareness practices of sitting meditation, walking meditation, mindful eating, mindful listening and speaking, and mindful self-compassion. This training steps beyond traditional stress management and deeply resources attendees with sustainable skills that can be woven into their daily rhythms and routines at work and at home.
